World Cup Watch Party 2026
Kim Eung Hwa Korean Dance Company joined the excitement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with a special live performance and community cheering session at Seoul International Park in Los Angeles Koreatown.
Wearing white costumes accented with red and blue and waving Taegeukgi flags, our dancers took the stage and shared the spirit of Korean traditional performance with supporters gathered for the Mexico vs. South Korea watch party.
According to FIFA, Mexico defeated Korea Republic 1-0 on June 18, 2026, at Guadalajara Stadium. In Los Angeles, Seoul International Park hosted a major Koreatown watch party ahead of the 6 p.m. PT kickoff, and later local coverage reported that more than 10,000 people attended the June 18 gathering.
This performance was a meaningful moment for our company because it brought together traditional Korean dance, community pride, and the shared energy of cheering for the Korean national team on one of the world’s biggest stages.
