World Cup Watch Party 2026

Kim Eung Hwa Korean Dance Company joined the 2026 FIFA World Cup watch party atmosphere in Los Angeles Koreatown as supporters gathered for South Korea vs South Africa at Liberty Park.

This community watch party continued the energy of Koreatown's World Cup celebrations, bringing together local supporters, sponsor booths, food vendors, and a large outdoor screen for another important Korea Republic group-stage match.

According to FIFA, South Africa defeated Korea Republic 1-0 on June 25, 2026, at Monterrey Stadium. Local coverage ahead of the match announced a Liberty Park watch party in Koreatown beginning the afternoon of June 24 with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m. PT.

Kim Eung Hwa Korean Dance Company was proud to be part of the larger cultural energy surrounding Team Korea support in Los Angeles during the tournament.
