On Sunday, January 19, 2025, Kim Eung Hwa & Korean Dance Academy performed at Disney California Adventure as part of Disneyland Resort’s Lunar New Year celebration.

Presented at the Paradise Garden Bandstand, the program brought Korean dance storytelling to park guests through vivid flower-fan choreography, graceful flowing sleeves and cloth, and spirited hand-drum dances. The dancers’ colorful hanbok and sweeping formations filled the pavilion while families gathered throughout Paradise Gardens.

Disneyland Resort’s 2025 Lunar New Year celebration ran from January 17 through February 16 and welcomed the Year of the Snake. Disney’s official program honored Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean traditions with live entertainment, Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession, the “Hurry Home” water presentation, seasonal foods, and Mickey and Minnie costumes inspired by traditional Korean attire.
