On Saturday, February 8, 2025, Kim Eung Hwa & Korean Dance Academy performed in the Lunar New Year Parade at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, California.

Colorful flower fans, flowing hanbok, and Korean drum rhythms filled Americana Way as the company shared traditional Korean dance with visitors gathered around the shopping center’s streetcar route and fountain. Adult dancers presented a vivid fan-dance procession, while young performers joined the parade with handheld drums. The program placed Korean movement and music alongside the day’s lion and dragon dances.

The Americana at Brand celebrated the Year of the Snake from January 29 through February 12, 2025, with festive decorations, special offers, and public programs. Event listings announced the free February 8 parade from 1:00 to 4:00 PM and specifically included a Korean Dance Team. Local post-event coverage also documented the annual parade and the center’s Lunar New Year displays.
