Signal Tribune reported on the Aquarium of the Pacific’s 24th Annual Autumn Festival, a two-day Long Beach celebration featuring music and cultural traditions from China, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines.
Kim Eung Hwa & Korean Dance Academy performed on November 16, 2025, and was recognized by the Aquarium following the performance. The report highlighted founder Eung Hwa Kim’s longstanding work sharing and preserving Korean traditional dance and culture in the community.
The Aquarium’s Winter 2026 Pacific Currents also noted that Kim was honored at the festival and that the academy has presented Korean dance and music at the Aquarium since 2010.
