The Kim Eung Hwa & Korean Dance Academy has a longstanding collaboration with the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California, contributing to various cultural events that celebrate and promote Korean traditional dance. Notable participations include:

•International Children’s Festival: This annual event showcases performances from diverse cultures, aiming to foster cultural understanding among children. The academy has been a regular participant, performing traditional Korean dances. For instance, they performed on March 24, 2019, at 2:30 PM in the Honda Pacific Visions Theater.

•Autumn Festival: Celebrating the arts and cultures of Asia, the Autumn Festival features traditional music, dance, and crafts. The Kim Eung Hwa Korean Dance Academy performed on November 13, 2022, at 1:00 PM in the Pacific Visions Theater.

These events provide platforms for the academy to share the rich heritage of Korean traditional dance with a broad audience, contributing to the multicultural tapestry of performances at the Aquarium of the Pacific.

Kim Eung Hwa & Korean Dance Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in 1980 to preserve and share the vibrant art of Korean traditional dance and music. The Academy welcomes people of all ages (4+ years), gender, and ethnicity who wish to learn about the richness of Korean culture.
